The cafe is small but cozy and the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and bacon, which was some of the best bacon that I have had. Bye Bye hotel breakfast because I will be eating at Debbie Sue's when in Prineville. ”

“ I call this my little spot. I know lots of the regulars, and I know all the morning staff. They are wonderful. The owner is also a great person and regularly works with her staff. I appreciate that they know who I am. If it’s busy you may wait a bit, but it’s worth it. Otherwise, the food comes out pretty fast. I also enjoy the slow pace of being here though. It’s relaxing and I come almost every morning. It’s the best breakfast place in town, don’t let the negative reviews sway you. I’m a committed regular. ”

“ I LOVE this adorable little 50's rock 'n' roll styled cafe! Luckily, it was the very first place that popped up during a quick search on Google for delicious breakfast in Prineville. First off, it's tiny. Like super small and cozy. There couldn't have been more than 6 places to sit and not much room for large groups (although a party of 10 did saunter in and were happily accommodated). We were served coffee right away. It was weaker than I hoped but I usually don't walk into a small restaurant like this and expect Starbucks Reserve. So it was fine. My husband bellied up to Sue's Cafe Breakfast (choice of bacon or sausage, 2 eggs, hash browns and toast, 10.75). I chose Chicken Fried Steak (served with gravy, hash browns, two eggs and toast, 9.75). We were impressed! He got 4 slices of thick, perfectly cooked bacon which we agreed was generous. There was plenty of gravy with my dish and the hash browns were perfectly crispy. It was just exactly how chicken fried steak should be - deep-fried, fatty deliciousness! The portions were large enough to keep the both of us filled for our entire 6 hour trip home. I would definitely recommend Debbie Sue's, and will happily return when given the chance! One more thing - Debbie Sue's is strictly 21 and over, even during breakfast hours! We did see the owner enforce the policy. Some may not favor this however I respect the owner's decision to have a such a policy that's followed through. ”

“ Food was great. I came here 3 days in row. Service fast and very friendly. Also admire how they prepare your meal. It’s not thrown together. It’s worthy of a commercial. Looks just as good as its taste. I don’t gamble but they do have slot machines for those who do. Cool spot for sure. ”

“ My entire experience was amazing. The staff, the food, the environment it was all amazing. It’s insane to me the amount of bad reviews over not allowing minors. It’s incredibly nice to go somewhere and not have to listen to your kid scream while you half ass parent them. The food complaints? Central Oregon has the worst food I’ve ever had no matter where you go. The nonexistent seasoning and bland ass food at every food truck, Mexican or Pizza place is just sad. Debbie’s hits the spot and brings some of that southern comfort to the North. Stop trying to bad mouth a good business while you go out and pay 20 at a food truck for a disgusting burger with no fries or drink. Come on. Highly recommend Debbie’s everyday! ”

“ Friendly staff in a very cozy space. I felt right at home the moment I sat down. The food came fast, I had chicken fried steak, eggs (over medium), hash browns, and sour dough toast, it was a delicious, cooked perfectly, and not over portioned. I'll be back again and again. I recommend coming here for a delicious and quickly served breakfast (I'll try lunch at a later date). ”

“ This is a quietly little place (no kids allowed) with wonderful homemade cafe style food. The grilled cheese was perfect and the creamy chicken noodle soup (current soup of the day) was delicious! “ Quick meal on our way to John Day, checked the reviews &made the stop. Just missed breakfast but our server was very helpful & let me switch cheeses on the special of the day. The kitchen is right there & our cook actually asked me if I wanted jalapenos (no thank you)! Great way to get my meal exactly as I wanted it. Fresh made soup was a choice as a side, bye bye French fries. All in all a great meal, highly recommend. ”
